Horsebox Construction

Our horseboxes are built from aluminium with a choice of smooth or stick-sided models with or without Luton. They are built with the safety and comfort of the animal in mind. All our boxes are available in a wide choice of classes from 3 1/2 tonnes upwards.

• Roofs are insulated for better temperature control.
  
• Sides are lined in 14mm plywood, covered with 6' high rubber stock board.
  
• Floors are built from aluminium planking and covered in heavy rubber matting for additional strength, safety and durability.
  
• The backframe is built from galvanised steel for strength and capped with aluminium.
  
• The underframe is built from lightweight aluminium runners with aluminium bearers at 16" centres.
  
• External width is 8' 2" with an internal height of 7' 11" (can be changed to your requirements).
  
• Choice of rear or side ramp, spring assisted aluminium with rubber tread matting.
  
• Choice of partitions to suit your individual needs built from anodised steel.
  
• Maximum airflow window styles with a choice of plain or tinted glass.
  
• Side door options with a choice of full door, stable door, inner mesh door, load doors, aluminium or wooden gates or swing-and-drop GRP.
  
• Choice of locker styles.
  
• Water tanks are available in all sizes with pump and inner lock hoses for washing off horses.
  
• Steps available as folding box, two rung sliding and toe steps.
  
• Wide range of lighting systems both internal and external.
  
• CCTV cameras available for horse area and reversing.
  
• Luton. Folding Luton floor with Easylift gas rams to the front panel, allowing the cab to tilt for convenient access.
  
• Hound area with decking and load ramps.
  
• Roof vents with mesh guards for protection.
  
• One piece window grill for easy cleaning.
